In today’s lesson, I’m going to introduce you to a very simple, easy and effective method to help you use this program more effectively.
This method can help eliminate that feeling of ‘too much to do’. It helps you get a clear overview of where you are going and dramatically increases your chances of success.
Here’s how it works…
One of the most common mistakes people make is trying to implement the strategies immediately after you read them.
For example, you read the strategy about creating a USP and then you spend a few days creating one.
Then you read the next strategy and spend a few days creating that.
Although this seems like a good idea, it can actually make you feel overwhelmed and eventually cause you to give up on the program.
A better way…
A better way to do things is to skim read the program through from start to end once. Do not attempt to implement anything. This gives you a general overall of the entire course.
Next, you read the program through again, but this time take notes. Writing activates a different area of your brain and aids retention.
Finally, begin at lesson one and start implementing the steps. You now have a clear idea of which lessons are critical and which lessons are not as valuable to you right now.
TODAY’S TASK: Using The Program
1. Quickly glance through the program from start to finish to get an overview of how it is structured. This is the equivalent of glancing at a roadmap to gauge how long a journey will be.
2. Go through it a second time and take notes. This will help you get a better idea of the details and time involved. This is similar to plotting your route on a map.
3. Use the program. Begin implementing the steps in the program and getting results. This is the journey.
4. Refresh. Every few months, read the program and take notes again. You will be surprised at how you can pick up subtle and profitable ideas you overlooked on first read.
